Dr. Guy Austern is a researcher, architect, computational designer, and software developer.  He believes that the role of academia is to explore disruptive methods and tools before they can be applied to the practice. He would like to bring architectural practice to the 21^st century by bridging the gaps between practice and academia, and between coding and designing.
